Anvi K. Vora, M.D.

Dr. Anvi K. Vora is a board certified psychiatrist. She obtained her medical doctorate at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan in 2010. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2014.

 

Dr. Vora previously had a passion for scientific research. Her work involved collaboration with researchers of different expertise, and focused on pathophysiology of the brain. She has scientific publications and received awards for her prior work. It became apparent that, in order to help people with mental illness, we need to work together and to focus on people as a whole.

Dr. Vora then founded Synergy Psychiatry, with a mission to collaborate care to enhance the treatment of patients in a clinical setting. She is interested in recovery and prevention of mental illness by use of evidence based medication techniques.  She is also the owner of Revibe Health Systems, which is a shared space among like-minded healers (including psychotherapist, massage therapist, acupuncture practitioner, esthetician, etc.), with the intention to collaborate care within the office. The goal is to rehabilitate the mind as well as the body.
